Description
Katherine and Thomas are members of the French-Australian Association for Research and Innovation Inc., a not-for-profit association supported in its set-up by ANU as part of its international relations and science/higher education diplomacy work. Each year the Association runs a Forum, this year in Perth focused on building research collaboration in the Indian Ocean. Grants were received from DFAT the French Embassy and CNRS to run the forum. Katherine gave 4 short speeches as AFRAN President and participated in one panel as a Cybernetics content expert on convening cross-cultural conversations. Both Katherine and Thomas managed the grant reporting. It was a great success with 80+ participants, and follow-up strategic actions.
