Young Ambassadors is an international competition run by the French Agency for Teaching French Abroad. It invites teams of students from around the globe to take part in creative writing and debating contests on a contemporary topic.
In 2026, the topic was "AI: a revolution benefitting humanity?" Thomas was invited by the Canberra Telopea French-Australian School to be a member of the jury for the APAC finals of the competition, and to provide the participating students with a short presentation and Q&A session on safe, responsible and sustainable approaches to developing, deploying, regulating and decommissionning AI systems.
