Initiated the ARDC’s participation in the AIATSIS review of the Guidelines for Ethical Research in Australian Indigenous Studies, negotiated an extension of the consultation deadline, drafted the ARDC submission, and arranged a face-to-face briefing between AIATSIS and the ARDC Director. He also located the supplementary online material on managing research use, storage and access of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research data that was not in the consultation PDF, and offered AIATSIS the ARDC’s experience of contributing to the NHMRC instruments.
