A closed roundtable with the Army’s senior leadership on Army’s strategic and organisational challenges to 2030. Paul was one of ten people listed under “Futures Council / Academics / Eminent Persons”, a group that also included Allan Gyngell, former Director-General of the Office of National Assessments, Kerri Hartland, former Secretary of the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business, Mark Crossweller, former Director-General of Emergency Management Australia, and Glenn Keys AO of Aspen Medical. The Army was represented by the Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Rick Burr, with Major General Simon Stuart and four brigadier- and colonel-level directors. Professor Rory Medcalf hosted for the National Security College.
