This event was hosted by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health (NCEPH) as part of the Australia Awards scheme. Australia Awards Scholarships are long-term awards administered by DFAT, offered to emerging leaders from developing countries for study, research and professional development in Australia so they can return home and contribute to their nations’ development, prosperity and resilience. The aim of this event is to offer the scholars a professional enrichment opportunity, deepen professional connections with Australia and support leadership and networking around priority themes, in partnership with Australian centres for excellence.
