Description

Invited by Director of the Centre for AI and Digital Ethics (CAIDE), University of Melbourne, a new initiative to participate in the ‘AI Policy Forums'. "This series aims, most immediately, to contribute to greater understanding about what we see as some key policy/legal issues in the ongoing development of frameworks for responsible AI. More generally, the AI Policy Forums seeks to build a community of people with cross disciplinary skills and an interest in AI Policy. The forums will consider the key policy and regulatory issues on the chosen topic at a more nuanced level than broad discussions about whether to have an ‘AI law’. They will combine a pre-prepared discussion paper, short presentations and contributions from the group to produce a policy paper ‘demystifying’ the AI Policy topic. The forums will be limited to 30 participants. They will operate under the Chatham House rules." Participated in forums on: #1 Generative AI, IP and the Creative Industries; Generative #3 AI, Competition and Markets.
