Co-authored the ARDC submission to the review of the 2015 National Science and Research Priorities and the ARC’s National Competitive Grants Program. The submission argues that research data assets and national research infrastructure are part of a whole-of-system approach to the Priorities and makes four recommendations: that NCGP applications identify any requirement to access national research infrastructure; that NCGP and Priorities planning be coordinated with infrastructure planning; that data, software and algorithms be reportable outputs for NCGP-funded research, including in ERA and EIA; and that the ARC adopt FAIR research outputs as a default policy.
