Initiated and drafted the ARDC submission on the draft Guide to Publication and Dissemination of Research, one of the guides supporting the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research. The submission makes three recommendations: that the definition of “research output” from the Authorship guide be used consistently across the suite of guides; that the duty to cite “primary literature” in section 4.4 be extended explicitly to data; and that section 4.6 on transparency name research data itself, since the Code’s principles P3, R8 and R22 do.
