IASSIST 2019, the 45th annual conference of the International Association for Social Science Information Services and Technology, held in Sydney under the theme “Data Down Under: Exploring ‘Data Firsts’”. IASSIST is the international professional association for social science data professionals, archivists and data librarians. Paul’s accepted presentation ran for 25 minutes and addressed the implications of the 2018 Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research for institutional research data policy — the same policy thread that runs through the RIA workshop series and the NHMRC Code consultation.
