Prepared and held the Australian briefing material for the OECD Advisory Group revising the OECD Recommendation of the Council concerning Access to Research Data from Public Funding, including the 3 July 2019 Advisory Group meeting and the 15 October 2019 OECD workshop on access to data. IMPORTANT: Paul was not himself a member of the Advisory Group. The Australian members named in the OECD membership list are Ms Kylie Emery (Branch Manager, Policy and Strategy, ARC) and Dr Adrian Burton (Director, Data Policy and Services, ARDC). Paul’s role was to prepare and curate the supporting material for the ARDC representative, which is nonetheless a substantive contribution to an international instrument.
