Description
The premiere of the SoundOut Art Ensemble, billed as an improvised music performance, with tickets at $20 full and $15 concession on the door. Paul was billed on guitar in an ensemble of eleven musicians plus guests, alongside Brian McNamara on invented instruments, Bruce Spink on guitar, Charles Martin on electronics, Jamie Lambert on guitar, violin and cello, Jesse Twomey on percussion, Karim Camprovin on vocals, Miroslav Bukovsky on trumpet, Rhys Butler on alto saxophone, Richard Johnson on tenor saxophone and Tom Fell on soprano saxophone. He confirms that he performed, and at the organiser’s request supplied a musician’s biography for the event a fortnight beforehand; unlike the other performance rows this one rests on the billing, that correspondence and his own statement rather than on a recording, and is rated accordingly. The date on the poster held in OneDrive is wrong: the performance took place on Friday 8 August 2025, not Saturday the 9th.
