The Australian Studies Institute (AuSI) promotes the study of Australia through research, dialogue, and global engagement. Drawing on and connecting Australia-focused research at ANU, the Institute contributes Australian perspectives to comparative, transnational and international conversations and projects, and helps to convene and facilitate them. AuSI facilitates a number of global engagement programs that foster deeper understanding of Australia and on topics crucial to our role as global citizens. We collaborate with leading universities and cultural institutions worldwide to support the exchange of knowledge, staff, students and resources, providing a conduit for Australia-related research at ANU to new audiences, both nationally and internationally.
