Biography

Practice based research into the early nineteenth century guitar, its style and context. A particular focus on the vocal influences that influeced this style as documented in the method books of the time, including those for the guitar, voice, piano and violin. The application of period techniques and the use of original instrtuments using period style strings is central to this research.
