PhD in Computational Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry
My research interest is to use computational tools in order to expand our understanding of chemistry by revealing the mechanistic aspects of organometallic catalysis, as well as bioinorganic and organic reactions. Through this, my aim is to provide novel insights that can be utilized to develop experimental methods, design new catalysts, and provide guidelines for experimentalists to optimize reaction efficiencies.
My uniqueness in research lies in the field of redox chemistry, with a particular focus on the mechanistic investigation of reactions mediated by hypervalent iodine reagents and other oxidants in the presence and absence of transition metal catalysts. With my expertise in the bonding and reactivity analysis of organic and inorganic molecules, I am well-equipped to make significant contributions to the field of redox chemistry through the use of computational methods. I have played a significant role in uncovering reaction mechanisms in this field and the findings from my work hold great potential for the future development of the field.
