Research Interests

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Australian National University. My research focuses on how people understand language in real time. Languages that I work with include English as well as Australian First Nations languages (Pitjantjatjara, Warlpiri).

Most of my research is experimental (with a focus on eye-tracking studies). I have a strong interest in statistical methodology and experimental data analysis, especially in the R language. I also have past experience with computational linguistics and NLP work, although this is not my central specialization.

Areas of interest:

  • Thematic role processing
  • Structural priming
  • Relationships between memory and language
  • Eye-tracking
  • Data analysis and statistical methodology
