Biography

Ashok (Ash) Collins is Senior Lecturer in French Studies. His research spans twentieth-century French literature, the intersection of Continental philosophy and religion, and critical questions in language learning and the philosophy of education more broadly. He has published work on authors and thinkers such as Romain Rolland, Jean-Luc Nancy, Paul Ricoeur, Jean-Luc Marion and Michel Henry. He is the author of Jean-Luc Nancy and the Deconstruction of Christianity (Edinburgh University Press, 2025). You can find an interview on the book here.
