Personal profile

Biography

More information about myself and my work can be found on my personal webpage: https://asilata.org.

I received my PhD in June 2016 from the University of Chicago under the direction of Prof Victor Ginzburg. Before coming to ANU, I was a postdoc at the University of Georgia under the supervision of Prof William Graham.

I also have a Bachelor of Science (SB) in Mathematics with Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.

Research Interests

My research focuses on problems in representation theory and algebraic geometry. I am most interested in the topology and geometry of algebraic varieties arising from representation theory. Specific topics of interest include perverse sheaves, quiver varieties, equivariant cohomology, and Bernstein--Sato polynomials.
