Personal profile

Biography

I received my PhD in philosophy from Edinburgh in 2022. I hold an undergraduate in music performance (piano) from Box Hill Institute of Technology and a MA in philosophy from the University of Melbourne. Broadly speaking, I'm interested in questions about what, if anything, makes a life go best - what is the value of truth? what is the value of knowledge? what, if anything is good for us? what, if anything, makes a life meaningful? and how should we organise society?

I was born in Perth but grew up in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. In a previous life I was a working musician before philosophy caught my attention. I now live in Canberra, Australia.
