Biography

Danielle Butler is a Fellow the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health ANU (PhD, 2018) and General Practitioner with 20 years of clinical experience urban, rural and remote settings. Dr Butler has extensive experience working with complex datasets, including survey data and linked administrative health data, the use of multi-level analysis and the use of mixed-methods and participatory action research for evaluating of novel models in primary care. The uniting theme underpinning her research is access to high-quality primary care for priority and underserved populations. She also works part-time clinically as a General Practitioner and researcher with the Institute of Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) with responsibilities for service evaluation and research.
