Biography

David is an Associate Professor in the Research School of Management at the Australian National University. Prior to this, he worked as an Accountant and Systems Analyst helping companies improve their financial and business processes.

In his current role, David studies how leaders and managers can improve the performance and well-being of their followers and employees. His research has won a number of awards at the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management and has also been featured in media outlets such as the ABC, Australian Financial Review, BBC, Business Insider, Men's Health, and TIME.  

David is also a passionate management educator who has taught at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels. He has also won a number of awards for teaching excellence and course management.
