Biography

David Stern is a professor in the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics at the Crawford School of Public Policy at The Australian National University. He is an energy and environmental economist, whose research focuses on the role of energy in growth and development and environmental impacts including climate change. He is also interested in research assessment. He is a fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia, an academic editor of PeerJ and on the editorial boards of Ecological Economics, The Energy Journal, Nature Energy, and Open Economics.
