Biography

David Stern is a professor in the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics at the Crawford School of Public Policy at The Australian National University. He is an energy and environmental economist, whose research focuses on the role of energy in growth and development and environmental impacts including climate change. He is also interested in meta-science and research assessment. He is a fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia and editor in chief of the Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
