Research Interests
Dung Phan is a PhD Candidate in International Relations at the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs, Australian National University. Prior to joining ANU, he worked as a Research Officer with the Vietnam Studies Program at the ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute in Singapore. His research focuses on Vietnam’s foreign policy, memory politics, and Vietnam’s experiences with war, peace, and reconciliation. His PhD project examines Vietnamese agency in the transnational memory politics of Agent Orange/dioxin. His work has been published in Review of International Studies, Asia Policy, The Pacific Review, and Journal of Contemporary History, and Millennium.
