Biography
Hendry was born in Bali, Indonesia and received his B.Sc. from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. He went on to earn his Ph.D. from Korea University in Seoul, studying the molecular mechanisms of flowering time regulation. Following a brief postdoctoral position at the same laboratory in Korea University, he joined the ARC Training Centre for Future Crops Development at the Australian National University.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Molecular Biology
Research Interests
My research interests lie in the field of plant biology, with a focus on plant traits improvement and the underlying mechanisms of plant development. Specifically, I am interested in utilizing tools from molecular biology and synthetic biology to understand and manipulate the genetic pathways responsible for important plant traits such as growth, yield, and stress tolerance.
