Personal profile

Biography

Hilda is interested in disability and development. While working as a Research Evaluation and Learning Officer in a research firm in Ghana, she thought deeply and critically about why carefully designed development initiatives fail to achieve their intended outcomes. Backed by this curiosity, she is currently examining the challenges of localising the CRPD in different countries and the impacts of implementation outcomes on the lives of people with disability. Hilda is widely interested in disability studies and how people with disability and their families are included in day-to-day activities and societal designs.
