Research Interests

  • The Eastern Mediterranean material world, with focus on Jordan and linkages with Hellenistic and Roman urban sites in the western and eastern Roman provinces
  • Review of standard pottery typologies with new approaches to classification of archaeological artifacts and clusters for new approaches in historical-archaeological inquiries
  • Examination of find contexts and associated deposits and artefacts for the study of commerce, urbanization and indigenous absorption of foreign cultures and their socio-economical systems
