Personal profile

Biography

I am an epidemiologist working towards reducing health inequalities, particularly in relation to socioeconomic position. I specialise in research using large-scale, linked data, including data from the Person-Level Integrated Data Asset (PLIDA, formerly MADIP), a government data asset. To maximise impact, I work in partnership and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of academics and policy partners. I am viewed as a trusted partner within Government and have an emerging reputation as a national leader in social epidemiology. I am also committed to high quality teaching, and have leadership responsibilities for ANU and external courses (delivered to Government).
