Biography

Julie Brooke is a lecturer at the School of Art & Design.  An exhibiting painter and former biomedical scientist, she focuses on interdisciplinary practice in visual art, biological science and mathematics.  She completed a practice-led visual arts PhD in 2013 for which she was awarded an ANU J. G. Crawford Award, and was a Vice-Chancellor’s Artist in Residence in the ANU Department of Applied Mathematics in 2014.
