Biography

Katie is an Associate Professor with Yardhura Walani, the National Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Research, the Australian National University. She works within the Mayi Kuwayu Study team, conducting research across Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community- and policy-identified priority areas, including discrimination and racism, SEWB, and family and community safety. She employs community-engaged, mixed-methods, and strength-based approaches.
