Biography

Lingwei Li is a Lecturer of Accounting. Her research interests are centred in corporate governance, financial and non-financial reporting, and corporate finance. Lingwei’s work on topics including proxy voting, mergers and acquisitions, board of director behaviour and corporate innovation appears in international outlets including Journal of Business Finance & AccountingPacific-Basin Finance JournalAccounting & Finance, and Australian Journal of Management.

Lingwei Li joined the Research School of Accounting in January 2017, after graduating from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Her research interests are in the areas of financial accounting, corporate governance, corporate finance, and auditing. Currently, she is particularly interested in investigating the role of information intermediaries. She received the Best Paper Award in Applied Corporate Finance at the 2016 Midwest Finance Association Annual Meeting.
