Linh Bui is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Management at the ANU Research School of Management. Prior to her Ph.D. program, she worked for Da Nang Department of Home Affairs in Vietnam for six years.
She was a recipient of The Grant Aid for the Promotion of Human Resources Development Program of Da Nang City Government in Vietnam, which provided a full scholarship for her Bachelor's program in Culture management. She also received The Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS), which sponsored a full scholarship for her Master’s degree in Public Management and Policy Analysis at the International University of Japan, Japan. She has received scholarships from the Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) for her Ph.D. program.
Her research (Hinsz & Bui, 2023) received Group Dynamics Most Valuable Paper for 2023. Her dissertation proposal received a grant from Division 49 Group Psychology Grant, American Psychological Association (APA).
PhD Candidate
Her research interests are teamwork, innovation, and emotions. To examine these phenomena, she adopts process-oriented and multilevel theoretical perspectives. Her past and current work uses field surveys, lab experiments, team data analysis, and meta-analysis.
