Responsible AI practices --- Dignity-centred design --- Leadership and ethical decision-making --- Information Systems --- Humanistic Management

My area of academic interest is dignity-centered AI development - how the idea of human dignity, which carries many meanings across cultures and sectors, can be meaningfully operationalised in the way AI systems are designed, built and adopted. This work encompasses responsible AI in practice, reflective and visual practices for organisational understanding, cultures of innovation, and the cybernetic and systems-oriented tools and methods that help us make sense of technology-enabled futures.

My expertise in this area is informed by a decade in strategy consulting and social innovation, time spent immersed with Silicon Valley technology entrepreneurs and an impact investor focused on dignity, and an education spanning science, international management and cybernetics.

I focus on "researching-into-being" new responsible AI practices: envisioning, prototyping and demonstrating what dignity-centered development can look like through transdisciplinary, engaged research conducted in collaboration with practitioners, policy-makers and fellow academics.
