Research interests
Maria is interested in typology, syntax, morpho-syntax and information structure. She has previously studied and worked on genetically and areally diverse languages, including Mandarin and Northern Kurdish. Currently, she is doing a PhD on Warlpiri. She has done corpus studies on ergativity, referential choice and pro-drop using Multi-CAST (multicast.aspra.uni-bamberg.de).
