Biography
Mark graduated with a Master of Chemistry degree from the University of Warwick in 2019. After this, he obtained a PhD position in Prof. Adam Perriman’s lab in the School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, at the University of Bristol, developing 3D printable engineered living materials (ELMs) capable of continuous detoxification of organophosphorus compounds. After completing his PhD studies in 2023, he recently took on a post-doctoral position in the Research School of Chemistry at the Australian National University, working to develop responsive ELMs and materials for environmental protection and remediation.
