Dr Myra Abubakar

Myra Mentari Abubakar is a scholar specialising in Gender and Cultural History. She holds a Master of Education from the University of Canberra and a PhD from the School of Culture, History and Language at the Australian National University (ANU). Her research explored the role of female figures in Indonesia's history and her PhD thesis titled "A Study of Female Heroism in Indonesia.". Her research focuses on understanding gender dynamics and cultural narratives in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
