Biography
Nabila is an Associate Lecturer in Marketing at the Research School of Management. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting & Finance and Marketing from North South University, Bangladesh, and a Master of Science degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Essex, UK. She is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).
Before commencing her doctoral studies, Nabila has been teaching at the School of Business and Economics of North South University, Bangladesh. In addition to teaching, she has been part of a research project on Green Banking financed by the World Bank and the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh.
Nabila's doctoral thesis draws upon the grounded theory methodology to explore the tension between materialism and anti-consumption through the reconciliation process consumers undergo along the solid-liquid continuum of consumption.
