Biography

Phil Batterham is a Professor and Co-Head of the Centre for Mental Health Research, in the College of Health and Medicine. He is a research leader in trialing and implementing prevention programs for mental health and suicidal behaviour, assessing mental health in the community, and reducing barriers to care. He has recevied three NHMRC fellowships and been a Chief Investigator on two NHMRC Centres of Research Excellence, seven NHMRC project grants (2 as CIA), one NHMRC CTCS cohort study (CIA), two NHMRC-EU Collaborative Research Grants (1 as CIA), three NHMRC Partnership Grants, MRFF Clinical Trials network, Wellcome Trust grant, EU-Horizon 2020 grant, and Australian Rotary Health Grant as PI (three more as CI).
