Biography

Qing is a research fellow at the School of Demography, College of Arts and Social Sciences and a member of the Australian Centre on China in the World. Qing’s research focuses on understanding the trends and consequences of migration using demographic and statistical tools. She has worked and published on immigrant population changes and integration in Australia, attitudes towards immigrants and ethnic representation in elections, international migration in the Asia Pacific region, and internal migration in China.
