Personal profile

Biography

I am an experienced educator with expertise in HSC Geography, Studies of Religion, Society and Culture, Stage 5 Geography, Stage 5 History, and Stage 4 HSIE. I've had the privilege of serving in regional secondary education for more than a decade, and am passionate about rural communities. An experienced middle leader, I advocate for environmental stewardship and social justice, helping students to become global citizens. My love for teaching and dedication to holistic education drive my commitment to the field of education.

As a visiting fellow and active classroom practitioner, I facilitate knowledge exchange between schools and ANU researchers, helping to identify possible levers for change. Improved knowledge exchange between schools and the Australian National University will provide a deeper understanding of the isolation and anxieties experienced by youth in this space and illuminate the need to disrupt schools themselves as a way of challenging orthodoxies to transform society.
