Professor Gregor spent a number of years in the computing industry in Australia and the United Kingdom before beginning an academic career. Her research has appeared in the leading outlets in her field, including MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Information Systems Research, Journal of the Association of Information Systems, and European Journal of Information Systems. She has been named in a Stanford University study as being in the top 2% of scientists worldwide for her career.
She has led large, applied research projects aimed at societal benefit that that have embodied and developed her work on design science research. Projects have been funded by the Meat Research Corporation, the Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, the Australian Research Council and AusAID.
