Biography
Yoona Choi is a lecturer at the School of Culture, History and Language, College of Asia and Pacific, Australian National University.
Her research spans three interconnected themes:
- Language and linguistic diversity in international business, focusing on how firms operate across multilingual and multicultural contexts
- Host country institutional environments and firm internationalisation strategies, including intellectual property rights protection, regional competitiveness, multinational enterprise catch-up strategies, and the role of democracy in shaping corporate social responsibility practices
- Organisational identities and dynamics, examining academic entrepreneurship, top management team composition, employee ownership, and digital transformation.
Her work has been published in leading academic journals such as Human Relations, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of World Business and Regional Studies.
With over 10 years of experience in the Australian Government and industry, she is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia).
