Description

The Econometric Society is a learned society founded in 1930 devoted to the advancement of economics by using mathematical and statistical methods. The Fellows represent the highest authority of the Society. To be eligible for nomination as a Fellow, a person must have published exceptional original contributions to economic theory or to such statistical, mathematical, or accounting analyses as have a definite bearing on problems in economics.
