Awarded by the Australian National University to support a project that is part of my broader PhD research on refugee children’s rights, fostering academic and policy engagement and collaboration between ANU and Scandinavian institutions. The project examines how United Nations Treaty Bodies (UNTBs) influence domestic legal systems in protecting refugee children, focusing on a comparative analysis of Denmark and Australia. The project seeks to identify lessons from Denmark to strengthen Australia’s engagement with UN human rights mechanisms and improve access to justice for refugee children.
