The Walkley Awards recognise “creative and courageous acts of journalism that seek out the truth and give new insight to an issue”. This nomination recognised a series of video interviews made for and broadcast online. They combined exceptional news sense and interviewing skills, developed novel camera and editing techniques, and made a high audience impact and pioneered the transition of rigorous journalism to new formats and multi-platforms. My role was as a writer, producer, camera operator, and editor.
