    Project Details

    Description

Our research project aims to make a significant contribution to the economic and empirical analysis and understanding of class action litigation in Australia, and the role and consequences of the relevant law of legal procedure and government policy. The research will bring together top researchers from around the world to analyse trends and outcomes in the class actions, identify and evaluate policy options, and communicate alternative solutions to policy problems. By supplying government and private decision-makers and the public with the results of objective, empirically based, analytic research the program aims to facilitate improvements in the civil justice system
