Project Details
Description
This project aims to establish a premium tool for Australian nanoscience via a uniquely powerful multiple ion beamsystem that will be operated as a national user facility. It will provide a major step-increase in our ability to observeand manipulate the structure of materials at the nanometer length-scale. This initiative will boost Australiasresearch capacity in nanoscience and have expected outcomes in the development of materials fornanoelectronics, energy and the environment, and structural materials. These outcomes will benefit Australiascapacity to develop advanced manufacturing industries.
