    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

EXT led - UQ: We previously developed a climate-based model for predicting dengue outbreaks one week in advance in the provinces with the highest dengue incidence in the Mekong Delta Region of Vietnam. The proposed study aims to build upon this model and use it as an early warning tool via a user-friendly digital application (App) to mobilize community efforts to prevent outbreaks in these high-risk provinces. - A/Prof Son Nghiem, a member of Theme 3, has expertise in health economics and will contribute 0.2FTE to analyse the cost-effectiveness and determine the value-for-money of the Software system/App toward dengue prevention and control in Vietnam.
