    Project Details

    Description

Family violence is a significant issue among Indigenous communities; however, there is a lack of evidence for what works to reduce harm and the application of best practice principles. A recent review conducted by members of this project team highlighted the importance of culturally responsive, holistic and strength based family violence programs available to perpetrators, families and communities. The aim of the project is to use established best practice principles for addressing family violence in Indigenous communities to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the Family Wellbeing Program (FWB) using an innovative mixed methods approach.
