    Project Details

    Description

Focused ultra-short laser pulses, by concentrating enormous power in a small area, can trigger ablation or disruption of any material with little collateral damage to the adjacent zone. A whole range of unique micromachining and biomedical applications is based on this phenomenon. The aim of this Project is to advance the existing technology by using unconventional vector beams which offer unsurpassed precision and efficiency in laser materials processing and microsurgery.
