Description
This project aims to conduct a comprehensive investigation of when, why and how allyship can effectively advance gender equality in the workplace. Using a novel theoretical framework and multi methods approach including interviews, surveys, and experiments, this project expects to generate new knowledge on the nature and impact of (in)effective allyship for workplace gender equality. Expected outcomes include an evidence base to inform interventions for workplace gender equality through effective allyship. This project is expected to make a significant contribution to understanding how workplace gender equality can be advanced which has a number of economic and social benefits for women, men, and society more broadly.
